Website and our own booking system for a beach restaurant in Sesimbra, with the menu, the live beach and events.

Portofino is a restaurant on Praia do Ouro, in Sesimbra. We moved it off Wix and built what it did not have: its own table booking, a menu with allergens in four languages and a back office where the team runs the day.

01On the beach

The site opens where the restaurant is: the dining room facing the bay, with booking and the menu a tap away.

02Our own bookings

Tables are booked on the site, without TheFork in the middle: party size, day and time, paced by quarter hour so the kitchen is never flooded. A reminder goes out the evening before, and guests change or cancel with a code. Groups of 20 or more go to events.

The homepage shows the Sesimbra beach cam with the air and sea temperature, the wind and the sunset, so you can see the day before you come.

Portofino beach events page and gift voucher request

05Events and vouchers

Weddings, celebrations and company events have their own pages and request form, next to gift vouchers. In the back office the team sees the day's bookings, the month, the clients and the vouchers, which are checked with a camera at the table.
