Ajudar os Bombeiros is a civic initiative built in response to the severe wildfires in Portugal, aiming to centralize donation links, collection points, and verified information to fight misinformation and support frontline firefighters. Developed in less than 48 hours, the site was built in Framer and structured to prioritize clarity, accessibility, and mobile-first responsiveness. The tone is direct and supportive, designed to quickly guide users toward action, whether by donating, sharing, or contributing supplies. I led the design, content strategy, and development of the site, ensuring a balance between emotional storytelling and practical guidance. The modular layout allows for quick updates as needs shift during fire emergencies. The platform received national attention and support from hundreds of individuals and organizations, proving how fast, thoughtful design can mobilize collective action in critical moments.
